Exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to lead the design and development of hardware and software for electronic products in aerospace applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in aerospace engineering and experience with industry guidelines such as DO-178, DO-160, and DO-254. This role involves managing project schedules, tracking deliverables, and ensuring effective communication among stakeholders.

responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of hardware and software for electronic products in aerospace applications, ensuring compliance with DO-178, DO-160, and DO-254 guidelines.
  • Manage project schedules and track project deliverables to ensure timely completion.
  • Provide inputs to and manage change requests throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Schedule and conduct weekly Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings to facilitate project progress.
  • Track and manage the technical aspects of the project, ensuring alignment with stakeholder requirements.
  • Report project status, including technical progress, risks, and issues, to all stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.
  • Elaborate and manage stakeholder requirements, translating them into detailed technical specifications for the engineering team.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative working environment to drive project success.

qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in aerospace engineering, specifically in the design and development of electronic products.
  • Strong understanding of DO-178, DO-160, and DO-254 guidelines and their application in aerospace projects.
  • Excellent project management skills, including scheduling, tracking deliverables, and managing change requests.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to report status to stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.

skills:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
  • Experience with aerospace regulatory compliance and quality assurance standards.
  • Familiarity with systems engineering and integration processes.
