Job Overview As a Skinner, Case Setter, Drainer, you will work as part of a skilled team to install, assemble, and prepare commercial refrigeration systems. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and hands-on expertise in the field. From setting cases to draining systems, you'll ensure every project meets SRV Refrigeration's high-quality standards and exceeds customer expectations. Key Responsibilities Install and assemble refrigeration cases, skins, and drain lines with precision and efficiency. Prepare systems for operation by ensuring proper drainage and assembly. Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met. Inspect and test components for proper function and adherence to specifications. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment. Communicate effectively with foremen and project managers regarding project progress and challenges. Qualifications Experience with commercial refrigeration case installations (preferred but not required training provided for the right candidate). Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools and equipment. Attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Willingness to learn and grow within the company. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to travel on a frequent basis Physical Requirements Ability to lift to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 75 lbs. with assistance. Capable of bending, kneeling, and working in confined spaces. Comfortable working on ladders and in varying weather conditions. Must be able to work on rooftops and in commercial environments.
