Our client, a leader in the HVAC industry, is seeking a Commercial HVAC Technician to join their team. As a Commercial HVAC Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Management team supporting various operational needs. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Commercial HVAC Technician

Location: Owensboro, KY

What's the Job?

  • Operate, inspect, and maintain all HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities.
  • Perform ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility systems and equipment.
  • Conduct facility inspections and report on conditions impacting client occupancy and operations.
  • Respond effectively to emergencies and prepare summary reports for management.
  • Comply with safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping in work areas.

What's Needed?

  • Valid state drivers license.
  • Universal CFC recovery certification.
  • Preferred 4 years of technical experience in building engineering with a strong background in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and climb up to 30 ft. ladders.
  • Willingness to support after-hours building-related activities as required.
