HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
Division 2 Contracting Ltd. is seeking experienced and reliable Heavy Equipment Operators. Division 2 Contracting is an established and growing commercial demolition company with job sites throughout Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. As part of our operations, we operate a fleet of heavy equipment (200 to 390 size excavators).
The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily operation of heavy equipment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Excellent Operational Skills of Excavator, Bobcat, Forklift, etc.
- Perform emergency repairs on operational equipment as required.
- Safely operate company vehicles and equipment as required in your duties.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of all necessary duties.
- Service clients in a pleasant, professional, manner, maintaining a professional rapport.
- Record all details of inspections, maintenance and other work done on the heavy equipment.
- Report defects or needed repairs on the heavy equipment.
- Follow Division 2s Health and Safety policies (Division 2 Contracting is COR certified, reflecting our commitment to health and safety in the workplace)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certification or letter of competency.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience is required. Demolition experience is an asset but not essential.
- Superior equipment operating skills.
- Self-sufficient and highly motivated.
- Valid Class 5 license is an asset.
- Knowledge of various types of light to heavy equipment.
