Licensed Pipefitter

Pay: $50-$55 an hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday (7am-3:30pm)

Location: North Andover (projects will be within a 30 mile radius

We are seeking a skilled and licensed Pipefitter to join our team at leading electrical contractor specializing in commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, assembling, fabricating, maintaining, and repairing piping systems that support electrical infrastructure, including conduit cooling systems, HVAC piping, and process piping for power generation and distribution systems.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Install and maintain piping systems associated with electrical equipment, including chilled water, steam, compressed air, and gas lines.

+ Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to both mechanical and electrical systems.

+ Collaborate with electricians and project managers to ensure seamless integration of piping and electrical systems.

+ Cut, thread, weld, and assemble pipes using hand and power tools.

+ Perform pressure tests and inspections to ensure system integrity and compliance with safety standards.

+ Adhere to all local, state, and federal codes and regulations.

+ Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

+ Ensure a safe work environment by following company safety protocols and OSHA regulations.

**Qualifications:**

+ Valid Pipefitter License

+ High school diploma or GED; technical training or apprenticeship preferred.

+ Minimum of 35 years of experience in pipefitting, preferably in an industrial or electrical setting.

+ Strong understanding of piping systems related to electrical infrastructure.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.

+ Proficient in welding, soldering, and pipe threading.

+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ OSHA 10 or 30 Certification.

+ Experience working on electrical substations, data centers, or power plants.

+ Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) and control piping.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $42.00/hr.
