The primary responsibility of this role is the coordination and completion of capital projects for a plant facility reporting to the Plant Engineer. - Coordinate efforts of contractors involved with finishing construction of new or redesigned areas for plant facility
- Participate in design and layout aspects of capital projects
- Responsible for project timelines and budgets
- Obtain competitive bids for projects
- Assign necessary personnel to designated areas for completion of projects
- Arrange to have appropriate records prepared and maintained
- Attend meetings as needed or called
- Perform various other duties as needed or as assigned
- Frequent communication with all plant departments as well as external vendors
- Organized and detail oriented
- Manage priorities and dynamic deadlines
- Efficient time management, ability to multitask
- Intermediate ability in Microsoft Office products, specifically Microsoft Excel
- Interpersonal and team skills for working with employees at all levels both internal and external
- Ability to organize and coordinate large projects
- Bachelor or Masters Degree in Engineering, Construction or related field
- Previous experience in construction, mechanical contract work, or any building trades
- Computer skills, including knowledge of spreadsheets, and AutoCAD
- Desk work
- Lifting
- Climbing stairs
- Frequent visits to production areas, environment consists of: Hot, Cold, Smells, PPE Required.
- Work 50+ hours per week on production floor, including weekend work and rotating shifts as needed.
- The schedule for this position is typically Mon - Fri. Weekend work required as scheduled. During Fall Season, Saturdays are typically scheduled.
- Possible exposure to slippery floors, extreme temperature variations, loud noise, chemicals, sharp objectives (knives), machinery, and vehicles.
- Base Salary: $79,417min-$96,492mid
- Health, Dental, Vision coverage begins after 60 days of employment
