Adena - Project Engineer
Summary:
The Project Engineer will manage and supervise at a project level all engineering and administrative policies, procedures, and functions. Coordinates with field operations to ensure transfer of information is delivered, understood, and implemented.
Primary job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assists Project Manager with preconstruction duties:
- Reviews estimates developed by estimating group
- Develops schedule, phasing, and logistics
- Completes constructability review, when required
- Develops bid packages and scopes of work
- Bids, awards scopes of work, and procures subcontractors and suppliers
- Assists in the coordination of the day-to-day management of the project under the direction of the Project Manager which includes but is not limited to:
- Cost Control
- Reports
- Oversees the RFI And Submittal process
- Produces and distributes monthly schedule updates
- Works with Field Superintendent to ensure all field issues are resolved; subcontractors are adequately manning the project; and jobsite safety is maintained
- Attends Project Manager meetings and documents through compilation of minutes
- Properly maintains, updates and files project documents
- Performs closeout and job completion documentation
- Responsible to ensure a general understanding of the subcontracts and purchase orders executed for the project
- Analyzes and mitigates project risk
- Participates in RFQ/RFP responses as needed
- Participates in project interviews as needed
- Assist with finding and developing future job opportunities
- Adheres to the company's safety policies to create a safe work environment
- Performs other duties as assigned

Adena - Project Engineer
Desired Qualifications/Skills:
- High School diploma or GED required
- Associate's degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred or the equivalent work experience
- Strong computer experience including Microsoft Word and Excel required
- VISTA accounting and project management software experience preferred
- Must maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must have a good work ethic, and the ability to understand and carry out written or verbal instructions
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
