Project Engineer

- Draft and track subcontractor agreements for Project Manager review.

- Manage subcontractors.

- Plan work schedules and equipment delivery.

- Complete equipment usage reports and assign cost codes.

- Ensure proper completion of equipment return/receipt reports.

- Obtain, evaluate, submit, and track submittals to owners/customers.

- Prepare monthly pay requests for Project Manager approval.

- Obtain materials quotes and submit purchase orders for approval.

- Track, maintain, and report material counts.

- Prepare and track project RFIs.

- Track invoices and receipts for field purchase orders.

- Create and file documentation in Primavera and Expedition.

- Collaborate with HR on new hire and termination paperwork.

- Ensure proper completion of timesheets.

- Inspect job site for project and safety compliance.

- Attend site meetings with owners/subcontractors.

Skills and Requirements

- 5+ years of experience as a Project Engineer

- 2-3 years experience working with heavy civil water projects

- Experience planning work schedules, managing timesheets, and managing equipment deliveries

- Experience tracking invoices, collaborating with HR, working with Timesheets, preparing and tracking project RFI's

- Experience working with Microsoft Suite, and great communication skills - Bachelors Degree

- Primavera experience

- Expedition experience null
