Welder Current Shifts: 5:00am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday and 4:00am-2:30pm Monday-Thursday Overtime may be required KEITH Walking Floor Systems provide horizontal loading/unloading solutions for bulk materials, pallets, bales and rolls. Submit your completed application at keithwalkingfloor.com/current openings Essential Functions Responsible for setting up and operating manual or semiautomatic welding machines. Layout, position, and secure parts and assemblies according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements. Tack-weld or weld components and assemblies using welding equipment. Inspect grooves, angles, or gap allowances. Understand proper quality weld standards (including slag removal.) Responsible for checking completed parts to meet KEITH Quality Control standards. Other duties may be assigned. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 18 years of age. Able to communicate in English with team members (Speak and reading, writing ability required.) May be required to pass employer performance tests including pre-employment drug screening. Welding experience preferred. Able to read and follow blueprints. Able to read a tape measure, pressure gauge, level, and square. Ability and willingness to follow directions as well as the ability to work independently requiring little or no supervision. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future. Working Conditions Works in a Weld Shop. Daily exposure to continual noise from machines. Exposure to intense light and hot material.
