About the Role:

The Evening Electrician will play a crucial role in ensuring the electrical systems at CFM's Fort Wayne site operate efficiently and safely during evening shifts. This position involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment to minimize downtime and enhance productivity. The Electrician will collaborate with other maintenance staff to implement preventive maintenance programs and respond to emergency electrical issues as they arise. A strong focus on safety protocols and compliance with industry standards will be essential in this role. Ultimately, the Evening Electrician will contribute to a reliable and safe working environment, supporting the overall operational goals of the facility.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid electrician's license or certification.
  • Proven experience as an electrician in an industrial or commercial setting.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Ability to work evening shifts and respond to emergency calls as needed.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in electrical work.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with automated electrical systems and controls.
  • Knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.

  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
