Project Engineer || Peoria, Illinois (Onsite)
Job Description:
Communicate and hold suppliers accountable for loss time activities.
Ability to update Layouts per CAD, CREO, Pro-E files where applicable.
Coordinate, prepare, and help execute equipment qualifications per the Matrix output.
Coordinate targeted operational deficiency data gathering per field follow schedule.
Identify Tooling updates where applicable to Industry best practices and technology.
Support and implement new purchased equipment and maintain budget constraints
Provides daily and weekly operational updates and initiatives.
Support and help implement process improvements.
Support on Kaizen and other initiatives and target Shop-floor practice updates.
Review and capture In-Process Validation Steps being utilized and identify cycle time's associated.
Provide process improvements concepts to the In-Process Validation Steps with current technologies.
Qualifications/Requirements
B.S in Engineering, Technical Practice, or Equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering, quality, or Production and Manufacturing Operations in an Automotive or related industry.
Experience with AIAG, and ISO 9001 Standards
Ability to support the development and execution of continues improvement initiatives.
Has knowledge in CNC Machining, Welding Processes, and Quality Control.
Is a self starter and can execute assigned projects with minimal supervision.
Desired Characteristics
Strong oral and written communication skills
Capability to work in teams
Six Sigma Green Belt Certified.
CAD, CREO, or Pro-E proficiency.
