Carpenter

We are seeking an experienced carpenter to join a well-established construction company with jobs all over Kitsap County. As an experienced carpenter, you will play a crucial role in various aspects of our construction projects including framing, tenant maintenance, and new construction builds. Your skills and expertise will be essential in ensuring the successful completion of projects and maintaining high standards of quality and craftsmanship.

**JOB DUTIES:**

May include but not limited to the following:

1. Framing

- Construct and install structural frameworks for new construction and remodeling projects.

- Interpret blueprints and follow design specifications to ensure precise framing.

- Safely use and maintain carpentry tools and equipment.

2. Tenant Maintenance

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial properties.

- Address tenant requests for repairs and improvements promptly and professionally.

- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues to provide effective solutions.

3. New Construction Builds

- Collaborate with construction team to execute new construction projects from start to finish.

- Install doors, windows, moldings, and finishing elements.

- Ensure that work complies with local building codes and safety standards.

**Qualifications:**

- Proven experience as a carpenter with a minimum of 3-5 years in the field.

- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

- Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

**Hours/Shift:**

Full Time Monday to Friday 6:30AM to 3:30PM

**Pay:**

$25+ per hour DOE
