About this Position

ChristianaCare is searching for a Project Manager to assist the Campus Leadership team to achieve organizational goals at the ChristianaCare, Cecil County Campus by leading and managing key projects and initiatives that impact the Annual Operating Plan. This position will also work collaboratively with all administrative and clinical leaders across all departments at ChristianaCare, Cecil County.

PLEASE NOTE: This position is located in Elkton, MD at our Union Campus. Although this is a hybrid role, the need to be on site on a weekly basis is required. The schedule will be discussed during the recruitment process.

Principal duties and responsibilities:

  • Manages and leads all administrative operations and support functions related to ongoing key projects and initiatives to ensure compliance with established objectives and practices.
  • Determine and define project scope and objectives.
  • Predicts resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Prepares budget, as applicable, based on scope of work and resource requirements.
  • Tracks project costs and data needs in order to meet budget.
  • Develops and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
  • Provides project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders.
  • Manages community relationships and external vendors related to projects and initiatives.
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
  • Measures project performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Leads interdisciplinary teams through clinical pathway implementations
  • Leads Project teams on campus

Education and experience requirements:

  • Bachelors degree required, Masters degree preferred.
  • 5 years experience in an administrative or operational role with experience leading projects. Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years demonstrated project centered experience required.
  • PMP certification preferred or equivalent project management certification and experience
