Concrete Foreman Needed!**
**Paying $30-$36 p/hr**
**Job Description**
The Concrete Foreman will lead and supervise concrete crews on large-scale industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in concrete forming, placing, and finishing, with proven leadership abilities on a wide variety of commercial and industrial projects.
**Responsibilities**
+ Supervise and coordinate daily activities of concrete crews, including laborers, finishers, and equipment operators.
+ Interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications to ensure accurate layout and execution of concrete work.
+ Oversee the setup of forms, rebar installation, concrete placement, and finishing operations.
+ Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and OSHA standards.
+ Monitor project progress and adjust schedules or resources as needed to meet deadlines.
+ Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and inspectors.
+ Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and equipment usage.
+ Train and mentor crew members to improve skills and productivity.
+ Inspect completed work to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
**Essential Skills**
+ Concrete forming, placing, and finishing in commercial or industrial settings.
+ Ability to lead crews skilled in doing large-scale concrete projects.
+ Knowledge of rebar, concrete formwork, and finishing techniques.
+ Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
+ Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
+ Proficient in using construction tools and equipment.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications in construction management or concrete work preferred.
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in concrete construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
+ Strong knowledge of industrial concrete practices, including formwork systems, rebar, concrete mixes, and finishing techniques.
+ Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
+ OSHA 30 certification preferred.
