Job Description

Manage and lead complex environmental engineering projects including civil, industrial wastewater, and remedial design.

Oversee design analysis, cost estimation, permitting (PA/NJ), and construction oversight.

Ensure compliance with federal (RCRA, CERCLA, CWA, OSHA, TSCA) and state-level environmental regulations.

Prepare technical reports, design documents, specifications, and operation & maintenance plans.

Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and documentation for projects like Superfund and brownfield remediation.

Lead and mentor engineering staff on project execution and professional development.

Plan and implement local growth strategies in coordination with marketing.

Represent the firm in client meetings, industry events, and business development functions.

Maintain chargeability and support cross-office client communication and satisfaction.

Ensure project teams deliver quality outcomes on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering; Master's degree preferred.

15+ years in environmental engineering with 6+ years in leadership roles.

Current New Jersey PE license is required.

Experience in landfill design, wastewater treatment, and groundwater remediation.

Strong technical writing, proposal development, and stakeholder engagement skills.

OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification and ability to travel regionally.
