Job Title: Construction Superintendent - Hyperscale Data Center Mid-CentralJob Type: Full-TimeOver:We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent with Hyperscale Data Center experience to join our team on a major project in Mid Central. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large-scale construction projects with a focus on data center builds, specifically in the hyperscale environment. As a Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the construction site, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.Key Responsibilities:Site Supervision: Lead and supervise all on-site construction activities for hyperscale data center builds. Ensure work is completed per the project schedule and in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.Project Management: Coordinate with the project manager, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure that the project is progressing smoothly and efficiently.Safety Management: Enforce strict safety protocols on-site, ensuring all workers adhere to safety procedures and mitigating potential risks.Quality Control: Monitor and inspect work to ensure it meets design specifications, quality standards, and all applicable codes.Scheduling and Coordination: Oversee the construction schedule, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones. Address delays or issues promptly to maintain the project timeline.Client and Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Provide regular updates to project stakeholders on progress, issues, and solutions.Subcontractor Oversight: Supervise and manage subcontractors, ensuring that they perform work in accordance with contracts, timelines, and quality standards.Cost Control: Monitor costs and manage the allocation of resources to keep the project within budget. Identify cost-saving opportunities and report any changes or potential issues to the project manager.Documentation: Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and records, documenting project progress, safety incidents, and any other relevant details.Commissioning & Handover: Assist in the commissioning process, ensuring all systems are in place and operational according to the project requirements.Qualifications:Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent in hyperscale data center construction, preferably with a top General Contractor (GC).Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of data center design, construction, and commissioning processes, including power systems, cooling systems, and IT infrastructure.Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors, and coordinate across multiple stakeholders to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.Safety Certification: OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent. Proven track record of maintaining high safety standards on large construction sites.Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients, contractors, and internal teams effectively.Problem-Solving: Strong ability to anticipate and address issues before they impact the project schedule or quality.Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
