Where is the work:

This position has been designated as On-Site at our Klinge Corporation location in York, PA.

What you will do:

Read blueprints and drawings and align components using tape measures, squares, clamps & etc. to plan layout welding procedure for each project.

Set up components for welding according to unit/project specifications and determine appropriate welding equipment, welding method and order of welding work based on project requirements.

Operate and maintain electrical and hand tools equipment (Including saws, squares, grinders & etc.).

Maintain a high level of workplace organization and maintain equipment for a clean safe work environment.

Work as needed for each project in MIG, TIG or in both MIG & TIG welding.

Perform any Welding related functions as required.

Leverage basic math skills.

Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.

Work collaboratively in a team environment.

What you will bring:

High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Demonstrable proficiency as a Welder with at least two (2) years of welding related experienced.

Additional experience preferred including additional experience in both MIG & TIG welding.

Physical requirements for this role:

· Ability to stand and walk continuously.

· Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds frequently.

· Ability to operate handtools and welding equipment continuously.

· Ability to work at chest and waist level continuously.

· Ability to stretch body to reach above the shoulder and bend body to floor level occasionally.

· Ability to use arms to reach above the shoulder and to reach to the floor level occasionally.

· Ability to use legs to climb ladders up to 5 feet occasionally.

· Ability to be around moving machinery and equipment continuously.

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $24.70 per hr to $33.51 per hr.

Base hourly rate is determined at time of interview skills assessment. Demonstration of specific skill delineators will add to base rate to determine rate of hire for the applicant. This is a skills-driven position with Hourly rate determined by matrix driven skills assessment at time of interview.
