Construction Project Coordinator

Job Description

The Preconstruction Coordinator will assist the estimating team by organizing and tracking bid documents, plans, and specifications. This role involves creating structured workflows and task assignments to ensure estimating and preconstruction activities stay on schedule. Additionally, the coordinator will support the development of bid packages, prequalification forms, and scope sheets, while proactively tracking deadlines and coordinating with estimators and department leaders to address upcoming due dates and outstanding items.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate communication between internal teams and subcontractors during bidding phases.
  • Serve as a point of contact to relay questions or decisions between estimating, project management, and leadership teams.
  • Assist with identifying, vetting, and onboarding new subcontractors and trade partners.
  • Coordinate outreach to subcontractors and vendors for bidding opportunities.
  • Maintain and regularly update the subcontractor/vendor database.
  • Strengthen relationships with key trade partners and promote alignment with company standards.
  • Assist in preparing and presenting proposal packages, qualification documents, and other client-facing materials.
  • Ensure incoming opportunities, deadlines, and project leads are properly tracked.
  • Support construction contract drafting, review, and administration to ensure timely execution and proper documentation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with construction management or estimating software is a plus.

  • Detail-oriented with initiative and strong follow-through.
  • 04 years of experience in construction, estimating, or preconstruction coordination preferred.
  • Familiarity with both commercial and residential construction projects.
Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $36.00/hr.
