Position Summary: The Senior Project Manager Marine Structures will lead and manage complex, port and waterfront infrastructure projects. This position requires a deep and thorough understanding of structural or civil engineering principles as applied to marine environments and facilities, including piers, wharves, bulkheads, and marine terminals. The individual may lead multidisciplinary teams, cultivate client relationships, prepare technical and fee proposals, and deliver projects that meet technical, schedule, and financial performance expectations. The Senior PM will also play an active role in identifying and pursuing strategic growth opportunities within the port and marine market sector.

Compensation for this position is $135,200.00 -$176,800.00 , commensurate with experience, education and certifications. The provided range is a good faith estimate based on the requirements described within the job description. Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Manage marine infrastructure design projects in accordance with approved scope, schedule, and budget.
- Lead project planning and control efforts, including Project Management Plans (PMPs), QA/QC plans, and health and safety plans tailored to marine work.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and marine-focused subconsultants to ensure seamless integration of structural, geotechnical, coastal, and environmental components.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules, resource plans, and budgets.
- Oversee design and permitting efforts for port-related infrastructure such as berthing structures, mooring systems, foundations, bulkheads and fendering.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, client standards, and maritime regulations (e.g., USACE, NAVFAC, ABS).
- Lead client and stakeholder communication; provide technical and strategic guidance throughout project execution.
- Prepare and review technical reports, contract documents, construction cost estimates, and construction plans.
- Participate in internal financial meetings and monitor project financial performance.
- Identify and manage project risks, including marine construction constraints, environmental considerations, and permitting challenges.
- Support the preparation of proposals, qualifications, and interviews; contribute to SMART Go/No-Go decisions and win strategies.
- Foster and maintain relationships with port authorities, terminal operators, and maritime industry stakeholders.
- Mentor junior staff and lead by example in technical excellence and client service.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations in marine design and construction.
