+ Assist the Landscaping Manager in the planning and supervising of the maintenance operations of landscaping areas and grounds.

+ Instruct Landscaping and Turf Maintenance crew on the operation and proper care of equipment.

+ Supervise and participate in pesticide/fertilizer applications.

+ Supervise and participate in planting design, deadheading, pruning, weeding, watering, and general upkeep.

+ Support and supervise in the operation and maintenance of pumps and in the maintenance of irrigation and drainage systems.

+ Oversee the completion of work assignments by crew members establish monitor and evaluate work standards and safe equipment use, providing day-to-day guidance, coaching and training, and promoting and recognizing quality performance.

+ Perform routine checks of landscaping, gardening, and irrigation areas and systems to ensure proper function and appearance.

+ Maintain a high level of awareness and attention to detail.

+ Use company tools, vehicles, and equipment safely and with respect. Report damage or problems to department supervisor.

+ Perform hand digging, lifting, and physical work where needed.
