**Job Description**

We are seeking skilled welders to join our team for a project at the Rocky Mountain Hydro-Electric Plant Headcover refurbishment. This role involves weld and fabrication work on large headcover components using heavy gauge, multi-pass, carbon steel welding techniques. The components are heated up to 300 degrees Fahrenheit, requiring precision and expertise.

**Responsibilities**

+ Complete flux core weld and fabrication work for headcover components using heavy gauge, multi-pass, carbon steel welding. Using 1/16 and 3/32 wires.

+ Follow guidance and meet goals set by leadership regarding output and quality metrics.

+ Operate within a separate area in the shop dedicated to this project.

+ Ability to set parameters per the Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) and adjust to optimize performance.

+ Produce high-quality welds that meet the standards of MT and UT inspections.

**Work Environment**

The work environment is a heavy manufacturing setting that is not climate controlled. The facility includes large overhead cranes, weld stations, and a full machine shop with massive CNC machines. This project will take place in a separate area, and welders will report to supervisors overseeing the day and evening shifts.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract position based out of York, Pennsylvania. Per diem of $150/day for all 7 days.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $34.00/hr.
