Construction Project Coordinator
Job Description

As a Construction Project Coordinator, you will perform all work in an office setting, collaborating with your assigned Building Team to communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, design partners, subcontractors, trades, and internal staff. You will assist Project Managers in coordinating commercial projects, ensuring quality, schedule management, safety, and budget control are never compromised.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and review shop drawings and submittals.
  • Establish and follow up on delivery dates for long lead time items and expedite material orders.
  • Manage and set client expectations while professionally addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Assist in project coordination by ensuring the timely progression of project phases.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction project coordination, including ground-up and reconstruction projects.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience in project administration, scheduling, and life cycle management.
  • Proficiency in construction documents and Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team player.
  • Proficiency in computer skills within the Windows environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree is preferred.
  • Passion for the construction industry.
  • Quick learning ability.
  • Extremely organized.
Work Environment

The role is based in a construction trailer on construction sites or in an office setting. The dress code is casual, with jeans, sweaters/blouses, and boots/flats being acceptable attire. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 4 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $31.25/hr.
