Job Description Summary:

Construction coordinator will support the design and construction process for the built environment of Option Care Health. This role will play a vital part in coordinating construction activities, managing relationships with construction partners and ensuring adherence to quality and company standards within our infusion clinics and compounding pharmacies. The Construction Coordinator will act as a liaison between internal stakeholders, design and construction teams, and external contractors to ensure quality project delivery adhering to project budgets and schedules.

Job Description:

Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent)

  • Reviews design documents to gain familiarity with contract documents and site conditions ahead of construction start
  • Attends page turns with design team to ensure appropriate review and approvals are completed
  • Reviews contractor bids and provides commentary to inform final scope of work
  • Attends general contractor introductory calls and bid reviews (in-person or virtually)
  • Coordinates phasing and scheduling of work to inform construction schedules and bids assembled by general contractor
  • Coordinates scope and scheduling of work with landlord or property manager
  • Oversees construction sites, general contractors, and vendors to ensure a high level of quality and safety.
  • Reviews requests for information and change orders and consults on direction with Design and Construction Team.
  • Collaborates with Senior manager of design and real estate to address any changes to design as a result of site conditions, material availability, etc.
  • Provides reporting support for construction activities to Design and Construction Project Managers
  • Maintains log of change order requests and associated responsibility to track spend to approved budget
  • Assists in managing and reviewing the progress of contractors construction schedules
  • Reviews weekly and monthly reports on status and progress of the contracts, including project costs and potential changes
  • Attends weekly construction meetings
  • Attends in-person kick-off meetings, progress site meetings (as needed), and punchlist visits to establish relationship with contractors, monitor progress and quality of work, and ensure successful completion of projects
  • Reviews construction invoices and pay apps
  • Coordinates transition to facilities management team for go-live setup
  • Coordinates move management with facilities management team

Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Architectural, Engineering or equivalent
  • 5 years of experience in construction management, ideally within healthcare, pharmaceutical or life science environments.

Basic Qualifications

  • Self motivation, organization, and accountability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams Preferred)
  • Strong multitasking skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. (Proficient in time management)
  • Previous exposure to construction/architecture or related field
  • Team-oriented & collaborative mindset
  • Problem solving and adaptability in fast paced environment

Travel Requirements: (if required)

Ability to travel 75% of time, varies with workload

Preferred Qualifications & Interests (PQIs)

Experience with CAFM and/or CMMS systems

Knowledge of cleanroom operations, maintenance and engineering requirements; USP regulations

Due to state pay transparency laws, the full range for the position is below:

Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Pay Range is $70,218.51-$117,008.35
