Job Description Summary:

Supports the design and construction process for the built environment of Option Care
Health and reports on real estate activities within the organization. Collaborates with design and construction managers, facilities managers, clinical and strategic operations teams, IT and leadership to develop project objectives, schedules, and budgets.

Coordinates with design and construction resources and supports projects from concept through completion, including all phases of process from programming, design development, budgeting, bidding, permitting, construction, inspection and delivery to the business.

Job Description:

Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent)
  • Supports real estate projects from conception to completion, with primary responsibilities anchored in project planning, scheduling, budgeting and reporting.

  • Assists with project roll-out efforts, setting priority and developing strategy for execution of projects in an organized manner.

  • Assists real estate site selection process through communication with internal and external partners, ensuring alignment with company standards, budgets and schedules.

  • Organizes real estate tours and due diligence efforts with real estate brokers, local leadership and design partners.

  • Initiates proposals from external vendors based on project parameters set within project intake process.

  • Initiates project intake requests and capital approval requests through leasing and operations manager.

  • Works to gather bids from contractors and other vendors utilizing standardized bid documents and procedures. Performs bid comparison and cost validation to aid contractor selection.

  • Assembles project cost summaries for capital approval process and budget validation.

  • Works with design and construction managers to develop preliminary project schedules and coordinates with external and internal vendors to ensure alignment with schedule.

  • Reviews invoices and manages adherence to project budgets during design and construction process and provides reporting to reflect financial health of projects.

  • Builds and maintains relationships with PMO, contractors, and design partners (architectural, civil, mechanical, construction and furnishing vendors, etc.).

  • Coordinates RFI responses during the course of construction. Reviews change orders and works with design and construction managers for comment and approvals.

  • Attends OAC calls, manages action items and takes meeting minutes for reporting and accountability purposes.

  • Maintains documentation supporting the built environment to include any printed and electronic resources and manages appropriate close-out process for real estate projects.

  • Leads projects dashboard calls and works with PMO resources to provide accurate reporting on progress of projects.

  • Produces monthly and quarterly real estate reports in collaboration with real estate team for company leadership tracking and review.

  • Coordinates with marketing, licensing and external vendors for rebranding efforts.

Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in construction, interior design, architecture or related field

  • 5+ years experience working in design and construction field


Basic Qualifications
  • Self motivation, organization, and accountability

  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, in the business community and with business partners (internal and external)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work with all internal business units, collaborating to collectively and creatively execute on real estate iniatives

  • Comfort in collaborating with large and diverse group of external professionals in every discipline of the built environment.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft products such as Excel and PowerPoint, and basic familiarity with project management software

Travel Requirements: (if required)

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of time, varies with workload

Preferred Qualifications & Interests (PQIs)

  • Experience in commercial real estate, pharmacy operations and/or clean rooms

  • Experience with CAFM systems

  • Experience with design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator)

Due to state pay transparency laws, the full range for the position is below:

Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Pay Range is $88,853.42-$148,111.54
