Daikin Applied is seeking a Sr. Project Manager who will plan, direct, and coordinate activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through peers/subordinate supervisors. All levels of Project management are tasked with delivering Engineering Programs, Projects, and Initiatives within prescribed scope, time and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through department leadership. All positions require a strong Engineering and/or Technical background to handle complex projects involving internal and external partners. What you will do:

Coordinate field enablement activities including training, communications, and readiness programs for sales and service teams

Track and report on KPIs and business impact, ensuring projects deliver measurable value by setting right level of transparency and accountability with multi-functional stakeholders

Drive process optimization and standardization across project workflows using best-in-class tools and methodologies

Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, from executives to field technicians, adapting style and content as needed

Leads NPI projects and collaborates with multiple functions to and define, develop, and deploy strategic initiatives and/or product roadmaps that maximize the value of the business and profitability of new products

Ensure functional commitments are achieved, strong understanding of Product Development Engineering deliverables within agreed-on time, cost, and quality parameters. Understand Key Engineering Product Requirements and Deliverables: PVSR, DFMEA, PFMEA, DVP&R

Plans and analyzes assigned projects, establishes schedules and project parameters and sets procedures to accomplish system objectives, involving complex contracting applications

Rigorously manages scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed-on time, cost, and quality parameters

Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel as required/necessary

Coordinates project activities regarding government regulatory or other governmental agencies such as required project permitting

Establishes a professional relationship with the customer (internal/external) and interfaces constantly to maintain accurate status reports and project reviews

Prepares impactful project reports for management, client, or others

Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the forecasted cost at completion

Responsible for timely completion of assigned projects and customer satisfaction

Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and assigned staff

Responsible for the successful completion of the project

Assist Coordinator in obtaining required sub-contract Agreements or project documents required for file

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

8 + years of experience in Project Management and/or Project Engineering

Project Leadership

Microsoft Project

Office 365 tools

Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters Degree

PMP Certification

2 to 4 years of people leadership experience

Experience in HVAC or mechanical servicing industry

Agile Methods and Tools

Storm Board, Mural, Miro

Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations related to HVAC and fleet management

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $90,000k - $140,000K + up to 15% bonus. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
