Technical Project Manager
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Telecom domain experience
Understand BRDs, solution designs and create the plan for cross functional team's
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the Planning and design of comprehensive strategies products for our telecom systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of telecom protocols and standards, and a proven track record leading cross domain agile teams
Key Responsibilities:
Understands the scope of work as defined by the business requirements, solution designs and established quarterly commitments (POR) or prioritized backlog (investment Pods).
Identifies, confirms and obtains participation from the required cross-functional teams. Works with Global IT TPM lead and team partners to complete this task.
Builds delivery plans and maintains program record. Works with the core team to identify and schedule all the work for end-to-end tech readiness required to fulfill program scope. Identifies and manages program critical path, being mindful of upstream and downstream dependencies.
Track and manage the program schedule and upstream and downstream dependencies. Analyzes the actual performance against the plan to ensure program milestones are accomplished and ensures overall committed timelines are met. Communicates updates on major milestones and keeps all stakeholders advised of progress and issues.
Performs risk management by identifying and managing critical paths and risk areas. Establishes contingency plans and identifies trigger events and assumes responsibility for initiation corrective actions. Escalates early to Global IT Planning & Delivery leadership for support.
Works with Global IT Planning & Delivery leaders, TPO and core team members to help identify and assist in making program tradeoffs to balance scope, time and costs, where needed. Ensure proper documentation.
Leverage Smartsheet's, Jira and expected program planning best practices proficiently.
Generic Managerial Skills, If any
Communication, should have worked in onshore and offshore model
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Salary Range: $120,000 - $130,000 a year
