Position Overview: We're seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Safety & Environmental Technician to support our commitment to creating safe, compliant, and engaged workplaces. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on collaboration, field presence, and continuous improvement. You'll assist in implementing safety programs, environmental health initiatives, and EPA compliance across multiple locations helping us turn values into visible action. Responsibilities: Assist with safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations Help maintain and update safety boards, reset stations, and communication trackers Support Kaizen and 5S events with safety integration Participate in training sessions and help reinforce safety culture on the floor Monitor and document environmental health practices (air, water, waste, chemical handling) Assist with EPA reporting, recordkeeping, and site-specific compliance tasks Support sustainability and hazard reduction initiatives Travel between facilities to provide consistent support and follow-up Help standardize safety and environmental practices across locations Build relationships with frontline teams to foster psychological safety and engagement Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation for audits and compliance Assist in preparing visual dashboards and summaries for leadership Support communication follow-up and action tracking Qualifications: Experience or education in safety, environmental health, or related field Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to travel regularly between sites Comfortable working in manufacturing or industrial environments Familiarity with EPA regulations and safety standards preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
