Traveling Construction Worker Location: Various job sites across the Midwest (initial site in Sheldon, Iowa) Work Type: On-site, Contract-to-Hire Start Date:August 25, 2025 Compensation & Benefits: Hourly Pay:$24-$30/hour Per Diem:$20/day Mileage Reimbursement:$0.40/mile (for daily jobsite changes) Housing:Provided (hotel or company-rented house) Schedule Flexibility:Options to schedule home time (e.g., work 4 weeks, home 10 days) Overtime Potential:High (6 days/week, 10-12 hours/day) Year-Round Employment:Projects booked out for 3+ years Job Description: Seeking skilled construction workers to assist in the full build-out of agricultural structures. Responsibilities include: Dirt work and poured footings Flat work and tying rebar Erection of precast concrete walls Concrete finishing and carpentry Use of hand and power tools General labor across multiple job sites Outdoor work in varying weather conditions (including winter) Required Skills: Experience in construction labor Proficiency in concrete work and dirt work Prefabricated wall erection Poured footings and flat work Carpentry skills Familiarity with hand and power tools Steel erection and concrete finishing (preferred) Work Environment: 100% outdoor work Winter work expected (as long as temperatures are above 0F and winds are below 20 mph) Travel required between job sites Additional Requirements: Must pass a drug test Appropriate work attire (work boots and pants required) Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
