Project Manager/Estimator in Princess Anne,MD,US

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project are considered. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders. Duties Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects using Heavy Bid and other construction management software. Coordinate project schedules and timelines to ensure timely completion of estimates. Analyze blueprints and specifications to identify project requirements and potential challenges. Collaborate with project managers and other team members to gather necessary information for accurate estimations. Maintain organized records of estimates, contracts, and project documentation. Utilize Civil 3D software for site layout and design considerations in estimating processes. Monitor project progress and adjust estimates as necessary based on changes in scope or materials. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards throughout the estimating process. Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in Heavy Bid and other construction management software is essential. Strong understanding of construction management principles and practices. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with project scheduling techniques and tools is advantageous. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in estimates.
