To schedule a phone interview - CLICK HERE Pay : $22-30/hr - weekly pay Job Description We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team at a custom aluminum manufacturing plant that produces industrial equipment. This role involves fabricating components and assemblies with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities Execute MIG welds on aluminum and mild steel with thicknesses ranging from .080 to .750. Perform welding tasks by following job order specifications, blueprints, and work instructions. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations. Ensure equipment remains operational by completing preventive maintenance as required. Make adjustments to welding machines for various materials and thicknesses. Read and interpret shop drawings to determine tooling requirements, setup procedures, control settings, and machining methods. Trace patterns and perform layout mathematics. Utilize various hand tools, including power tools, drills, tape measures, levels, and scissor lifts. Manage all aspects of the shop and provide flexible, quick-turn services. Plan stock inventory by checking stock levels, anticipating needs, and verifying receipt of stock. Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting malfunctions. Essential Skills Proficiency in steel and aluminum welding. Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings. Experience with hand tools and equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in executing MIG welds on aluminum and mild steel. Capability to perform layout mathematics and trace patterns. Skill in making machine adjustments for different materials. Why Work Here?
