Construction - Senior Superintendent
Location: Breckenridge, CO
Position Type: Full-time Exempt
Compensation: $145,000-$195,000 (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership and oversight for field operations on large-scale, complex, or multiple construction projects.
- Champion and enforce all safety protocols, ensuring OSHA compliance and promoting a zero-incident culture.
- Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of superintendents, foremen, and field staff, fostering professional development.
- Develop, maintain, and drive the critical path project schedule, ensuring seamless coordination between all trades.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards and building codes.
- Review and interpret construction plans, specifications, and submittals to resolve constructability issues.
- Act as the primary company representative in meetings with owners, architects, and inspectors.
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with inspectors, owners, designers, and subcontractors.
- Monitor project risks and proactively implement effective solutions to mitigate issues.
- Support the project procurement strategy and evaluate subcontractor performance.
- Lead project closeout activities, including punch-list management and final inspections.
- Uphold all company core standards, policies, and procedures, including a commitment to exceptional stakeholder experience.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive construction experience in a field-based role.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior supervisory role (e.g., Senior Superintendent, General Superintendent) overseeing large or complex projects.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage superintendents, foremen, and field staff.
- Expert knowledge of construction means, methods, building codes, and safety protocols.
- OSHA 30-hour certification.
- Proficiency with project management and scheduling software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex construction documents and contracts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience leading high-level meetings.
- Valid U.S. driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to perform the physical demands of the job, including walking uneven terrain, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 45 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience successfully delivering projects exceeding $50 million in value.
- Experience across multiple project types (e.g., commercial, hospitality, multi-family, mixed-use).
- Additional safety certifications beyond OSHA 30 (e.g., OSHA 500, First Aid/CPR).
- Advanced proficiency with specific software mentioned (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanGrid, Buildertrend).
- Strong financial acumen and experience with budget monitoring and cost forecasting.
