Site Work Foreman

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Work Foreman to oversee grading construction projects and ensure that they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of grading construction management processes. This role requires effective communication with team members, subcontractors, and clients to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Operations: Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Blueprint Mastery: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans to guide construction activities.
• Project Management: Utilize Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word and Other software for efficient project management and budgeting tasks.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets specifications and standards.
• Team Development: Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Coordination: Work closely with Project Manager, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Progress Monitoring: Manage project schedules, monitor progress, and report on project status to upper management.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot issues that arise during construction and present constructive resolutions to handle issues.
• Safety First: Ensure all work is completed in accordance with established timelines while adhering to safety protocols set forth by Beam Site Prep and OSHA.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
• Familiarity with quality control processes in a construction environment.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards on construction sites.
