LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a mission-driven organization to hire a Project Manager responsible for leading the modernization, maintenance, and compliance of critical building systems. This role plays a key part in ensuring operational excellence, infrastructure resilience, and adherence to regulatory standards across a diverse facilities portfolio. Key Responsibilities: Lead the modernization, maintenance, and compliance efforts for core building infrastructure (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire/life safety, roofing, building envelope, and more) Maintain an up-to-date asset register and implement lifecycle tracking for all critical infrastructure components Oversee vendor partnerships to ensure timely service, quality repairs, and optimization of system performance Drive preventive maintenance programs and ensure execution of annual inspections, system testing, and safety compliance Manage capital improvement and energy efficiency projects, from system replacements to infrastructure upgrades Conduct system evaluations, develop scopes of work, and coordinate assessments for enhancements and replacements Ensure alignment with environmental health standards, local building codes, and fire/life safety protocols Ideal Candidate Profile: 3+ years of experience in facilities management, capital project oversight, or infrastructure-related project management Strong understanding of building systems, construction methods, and safety/compliance protocols Proven track record managing vendor relationships and coordinating multi-phase projects Ability to interpret engineering reports, building codes, and technical scopes of work Excellent organizational and communication skills Background in public housing, government, or nonprofit facilities is a plus, but not required This is a direct hire opportunity with competitive pay and a chance to make a long-term impact on community infrastructure.
