Aerotek is Hiring for Maintenance Mechanics! Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in an industrial manufacturing environment. This role involves performing mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment, with a focus on gears, bearings, shafts, and hydraulics/pneumatics. The ideal candidate will have experience in stick welding and the use of oxygen acetylene torches for repair and maintenance on plant equipment. Responsibilities Perform mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment. Dismantle, clean, repair, replace, install, maintain, assemble, and lubricate mechanical equipment. Adjust equipment for proper operating characteristics and make either temporary or permanent repairs. Assemble and align gears, bearings, and shafts, involving the application of press, sliding, and running fits. Operate simple machine tools such as drill press, pipe threader, power saw, etc. Erect scaffolds and perform simple rigging as necessary. Essential Skills Experience working with gears, bearings, shafts, and hydraulics/pneumatics. Direct hands-on experience with stick welding and cutting. Ability to handle oxygen acetylene torches. Fundamental understanding of mechanical systems. Basic understanding of hydraulics. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in maintenance repair within an industrial environment. Knowledge of pumps, piping, and transmission systems. Work Environment This role is based in a foundry environment which is very industrial. The position requires flexibility with shifts, primarily on 2nd and 3rd shifts after completing a rotating training period. Shift times are 7-3, 3-11, and 11-7. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Latrobe, Pennsylvania. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $67496.00 - $70200.00/yr.
