Machine Operator

Machine Operator Job Description As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up machines daily by checking work orders and blueprints to determine the parts to be made and the quantity required. You will operate various equipment including the Brake Press, Fiber Laser, Die Stamp, spot welder, and more. Your role will involve forming and bending metal, as well as inspecting each piece to ensure it meets specifications without defects. Responsibilities Set up machines daily based on work orders and blueprints. Operate equipment such as Brake Press, Fiber Laser, Die Stamp, and spot welder. Load metal sheets and form/bend them as required. Inspect each metal piece visually and physically for defects. Lift materials weighing over 40 pounds daily. Essential Skills Proficiency in reading blueprints. Experience in machine operation. Proficient use of micrometers and calipers. Minimum of 1 year experience in machine operation and usage of micrometers and calipers. Knowledge of Laser, press brake, TIG welding, and general welding techniques. Additional Skills & Qualifications At least 6 months of experience in welding or fabricating. Why Work Here? Expect to work in a modern, clean, and temperature-controlled environment, alongside 2-3 other colleagues operating their own machines in a collaborative pod. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
