Welder

General Responsibilities & Position Purpose:
Responsible for inspecting parts, operating equipment for production of parts and to ensure meeting customer requirements. Will use various tools and techniques to conform to standard operating procedures and optimize program for efficient use of equipment and material. Responsible for blue print interpretation and be able to ensure quality products.
Primary Duties:
Read and interpret blueprints
Use of measuring tools and equipment
Ability to document and maintain records - report any quality errors to supervisor
Use of grinders
Mig welding wire products together
Work as part of a team when needed
Physical Requirements:
Must be able lift to up to 30-50lbs occasionally
Must be able to stand for entire 8-10 hours
Must be willing to work in a hot environment
This position involves grasping, pushing, bending, and pulling.
Capabilities and/or Experience Required:
Tig welding experience preferred not required
Past experience of various robotic Mig and Tig welder setups preferred not required
Excellent organizational, communication, and math skills
Must be familiar with basic hand tool functions
Personal Protective Equipment and/or Dress Code Requirements:
Safety Glasses (provided by company)
Heat resistant gloves (provided by company)
Closed toed shoes (provided by candidate)
Welding helmet, welding gloves, welding jacket, welding sleeves and shoe covers (provided by company)
No baggy or offensive clothing and No dangling jewelry
