We are looking for Prefabrication Shop Foreman, who are looking for an exciting career with an industry leader thats been in the business since 1929.

WHAT YOULL NEED FOR THE JOB:

• Work directly with the Prefab Manager to ensure project objectives, goals and timelines are met.
• Reading and understanding blueprints, drawings, and plans to understand the building of our prefab systems.
• Mentor and train mechanics, and trainees in building these systems and how they are used and installed.
• Work with and communicate with our PMs and Onsite Foreman to assist with builds of different systems.
• Manage day-to-day shop operations, such as directing shop personnel, shop cleanliness, deliveries and shipments, material check-ins, etc.
• Provide accurate projections and outlooks of job tasks
• Responsible for shop disciplinary action with adherence to Company policies
• Manage shop employees to ensure quality of work and timely completion of assigned tasks
• Identify and lead crews in efficient building processes
• Responsible for keeping track of shop employees time
• Performing various commercial Plumbing/Pipe fitting related jobs in our Prefab Shop
• Performing various commercial HVAC Sheet Metal tasks in our Sheet Metal Shop.
• Working with various types of piping including welded steel pipe, roll grooved steel/SS pipe, copper Pro Press, soldering, brazing, threading pipe, and working with CPVC and PVC pipe as well as sheet metal
• Collaborate and assist team members to build a high level of teamwork and morale
• Other duties as assigned

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR

• Preferred 2 years experience as a foreman
• Preferred 4 years experience in the plumbing trade
• Preferred 2 years experience with pipe fitting
• Thorough knowledge of plumbing theory, methods, practices, tools and equipment of trade
• Organizational skills to process required paperwork
• Strong team building and leadership skills
• Ability to take initiative and think outside the box
• Must possess basic hand tools
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals
• Ability to interact with multiple personality types while ensuring a positive outcome
