Job Description

We are seeking an experienced architect to lead the design and execution of multifamily, mid-rise/high-rise, commercial, and religious projects. This role involves guiding project design, overseeing drawing production, coordinating with various teams, and managing construction administration, all while mentoring junior staff and reporting to senior management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project design and drawing production with a focus on multifamily and commercial projects.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and client preferences by reviewing DOB objections.
  • Utilize Revit for design development and manage project coordination.
  • Oversee consultants including structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, expeditors, lighting, and acoustical teams.
  • Manage construction administration tasks such as RFIs, ASIs, and submittal of drawing reviews.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in Revit and associated plug-ins like Enscape.
  • Experience in project management and coordination.
  • Knowledge of residential and multifamily architectural design.
  • Expertise in drafting, construction documents, and administration.
  • Familiarity with NYC DOB processes, building codes, and zoning.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • 710 years of architectural experience with at least 2 years managing NYC projects.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, and 3D computer modeling software.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interior design experience is a plus.
Work Environment

Our office is located in a beautiful, open space in a Downtown Brooklyn high-rise with 360-degree views of the city. We offer a hybrid schedule with Monday to Thursday in-office work and Fridays from home. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
