Forklift Operator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in a dynamic and essential role within our distribution hub. The position requires proficiency in operating a Stand Up forklift to manage inbound and outbound shipments, including loading and unloading trucks, picking full pallets, and organizing product placement. Attention to detail is paramount, especially when handling FDA-regulated products. Quality assurance is prioritized over quantity, and the ability to identify mistakes and ensure adherence to GMP/SOPs is crucial.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate Stand Up forklift for inbound and outbound shipments.
+ Load and unload trucks efficiently.
+ Pick full pallets and properly store products.
+ Maintain high quality standards, especially with FDA-regulated items.
+ Ensure GMP/SOPs are strictly followed.
+ Identify and rectify errors promptly.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in operating Stand Up forklift.
+ Attention to detail with FDA-regulated products.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
+ Good computer and RF scanner skills.
+ Stable work history.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Familiarity with GMPs/SOPs is advantageous but not mandatory.
+ SAP/Inventory experience is beneficial.
+ Experience in unloading trucks.

Our large 500,000 square ft. warehouse is semi-climate controlled, with air conditioning in the summer but no heat in the winter to maintain product temperature requirements. As a distribution hub for chocolate manufacturing, we process raw materials such as beans into chocolate liquor, powders, and cocoa butter. The facility hosts approximately 40 employees, ensuring a collaborative and efficient work atmosphere.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
