Construction Safety Director

Known for their high retention, repeat clientele, and commitment to safety and community development, this firm is seeking a strategic leader to elevate and manage their company-wide safety program. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Construction Safety Director position include: Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial construction safety, ideally in a union setting OSHA 500 certification strongly preferred; CSP or CHST is a plus Experience using Procore and ISNetworld for safety tracking and reporting Ability to lead and continuously improve safety programs and policies Conduct field inspections across 5-6 job sites daily, mostly in Chicago Investigate incidents, manage claim processes, and interface with insurance and legal stakeholders Collaborate with union safety representatives and internal leadership to ensure full compliance Must be self-directed, field-driven, and able to develop and implement procedures proactively Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
