JRT is currently recruiting for a 4 month project in the Portland Oregon area. We are looking for candidates that can weld with some experience fitting. The project will entail working with stainless steel (TIG). Opportunities for long term employment also exist with JRT.

Job Description:

JRT is seeking stainless steel welders with some fitting experience in the Portland, Oregon area. We are looking at candidates with experience and someone that has accurate and precise attention to detail in their work. If you're looking to work with a great group of people and have fun everyday at work, please apply!

• Weld and fit stainless pipe
• Either certified or qualified to be certified to weld pipe in the 6G position
• SMAW and GTAW experience preferred
• Able to fit up piping in preparation to be welded
• Read blueprints, plans, and shop drawings
• Clean and clear debris and hazardous material from pipes as needed
• Includes installation of piping supports such as hanger/strut/all-thread etc.

The Work:

• Work located in Portland, Oregon
• This project is a Wastewater Treatment Facility in Portland, Oregon
• Prevailing Wage - $47.43 per hour plus a fringe of $32.73 an hour
