Handyman & Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will handle a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, both preventative and reactive, ensuring clients homes remain functional, efficient, and safe. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and experienced in residential maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general home repairs, including but not limited to fixing leaks, patching drywall, repairing fixtures, and addressing minor plumbing and electrical issues.
Carry out preventative maintenance tasks such as weatherproofing, air filter replacements, and routine inspections.
Assemble furniture, install shelves, mount TVs, and complete other small installation tasks.
Conduct seasonal maintenance, including gutter cleaning, exterior inspections, and deck or patio upkeep.
Identify and communicate larger repair needs or safety concerns to management.
Ensure each task is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.
Maintain clear communication with clients, providing updates and addressing any questions or concerns.
Document completed tasks, materials used, and time spent on each project.
Adhere to company safety protocols and industry best practices at all times.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and OSHA requirements, particularly when using specialized machinery and equipment.
Participate in training programs to meet and exceed Hausmeisters operational standards.
Qualifications:

Proven experience (2+ years preferred) in general handyman work, preventative maintenance, or construction.
Proficiency in basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks.
Ability to safely and effectively use hand and power tools, with a willingness to learn new equipment.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude to ensure a positive client experience.
Ability to work independently and manage tasks within deadlines.
Valid drivers license with clean driving record and reliable transportation.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks in confined or elevated spaces.
Basic understanding of energy efficiency best practices in home care and a commitment to ongoing learning and development in the field.
Ability to collaborate effectively with team members, management, and customers.
Dedicated to following safety standards and procedures.

Pay:
Starting at $28/hr to $35/hr
