Maintenance Mechanic**

**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, replacing, and adjusting machine parts and attachments according to production specifications. You will also be tasked with repairing or adjusting equipment, cleaning machines and machine parts, and setting up and operating machines. Collaboration with the Facilities and Mechatronics teams for the installation, repair, and support of robotics is essential.

**Responsibilities**

+ Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments, according to production specifications.

+ Repair or adjust equipment, machines, or defective components, replacing worn parts.

+ Clean machines and machine parts using cleaning solvents, cloths, air guns, hoses, vacuums, or other equipment.

+ Set up and operate machines, and adjust controls to regulate operations.

+ Work in concert with Facilities and Mechatronics teams for installation, repair, and support of robotics.

**Essential Skills**

+ 2+ years of Mechanical Maintenance experience.

+ 1+ years of electrical troubleshooting.

+ 2+ years of experience with hand and power tools.

+ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

+ Ability to use various hand tools.

+ HS Diploma or equivalent required.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Manufacturing background preferred.

+ Electrical, PLC, and/or pneumatics experience a plus.

+ Technical degree or other certification a plus.

+ Ability to frequently lift, push, and pull up to 50lb weight unassisted.

+ Ability to remain on feet standing and walking for 8-hour shift.

+ Experience with preventive maintenance, mechanical, blueprint, electrical, mold machine, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC troubleshooting.

+ Nice to have experience with flexographic printing machines, mold machines, and robotics.

**Work Environment**

This position operates during the 3rd shift from 11pm to 7am, Monday through Friday. The work environment involves using advanced technologies and equipment in a manufacturing setting. Comfortable attire suitable for maintenance work is recommended.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract position based out of Sturtevant, Wisconsin.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
