Job Summary:

Charter Construction is seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter to join our dynamic restoration team. As a Lead Carpenter, you will oversee and execute high-quality carpentry projects, manage on-site operations, and ensure the timely completion of restoration jobs. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a keen eye for detail, and enjoy leading a team, we'd love to hear from you! In the Restoration industry seek out Jack of All Trades individuals who are able to jump in and put back together many aspects of construction such as painting and drywall in addition to carpentry

General Summary

  • Lead carpentry projects from start to finish, Perform variety of finish and rough carpentry services consistent with plan specifications (i.e. interior and exterior framing; trim, window and door installment; siding; roofing; stairs and handrails; decks; floor systems; drywall; painting; cabinet installation and finish carpentry).
  • Accurately interpret plan specifications; ensure proper selection and install of materials.
  • Ability to jump in and complete greater aspects of the job not limited to painting, drywall, taping etc.
  • Responsible for making sound decisions; ability to accurately evaluate self-performance.
  • Promote cooperative team environment with common goals; identify and solve problems.
  • Ability to work and communicate cooperatively and effectively with residents, clients, customers, and Charter personnel.
  • Ensure and promote proper safety protocol

Minimum Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise as multi-skilled carpenter/craftsmen.
  • Three to seven years of related work experience.
  • Ability to inspect, repair, install, modify, rebuild, construct, and maintain carpentry services.
  • Capable of working effectively among diverse teams and manage multi-faceted tasks.
  • Good leadership and interpersonal skills; related field experience in lead carpenter role.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain OSHA 10 and other safety Certifications
  • Must have a valid driver's license and willing to travel to multiple job sites
