We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) Welder to join our team in Salt Lake City. The ideal candidate will have experience welding various metals, including stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium. This full-time temp-to-hire position is ideal for someone looking to grow within a dynamic manufacturing or fabrication environment with a pay rate of 22-30 dollars an hour dependent upon experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform TIG welding on a variety of metalponents and assemblies with high precision.
Read and interpret blues, technical drawings, and welding specifications.
Inspect finished welds visually and/or using non-destructive testing to ensure quality standards.
Set up and operate TIG welding equipment, including torches, filler rods, and shielding gases.
Prepare workpieces by cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces prior to welding.
Ad to all safety guidelines and maintain a clean,anized workspace.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on welding equipment as needed.
Requirements:
Proven experience with TIG welding, including stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium.
Strong understanding of welding techniques, blues, and fabrication methods.
High attention to detail with amitment to producing top-quality work.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
