**About the Role**
As a Civil/Structural Design Drafter, youll play a key role in designing and detailing structural components for power plants and related facilities. Your work will directly support engineering teams and ensure the safe, efficient, and accurate execution of critical infrastructure projects.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Develop detailed structural drawings from field notes, sketches, and engineer concepts.
+ Design steel structures including platforms, stairs, bracing, and roof framing using AISC standards.
+ Create concrete layouts including rebar detailing, slabs, foundations, and equipment pads.
+ Collaborate with civil/structural engineers and other design professionals.
+ Conduct site visits to SRP generating stations to gather field data.
+ Utilize Bentley MicroStation Connect to produce high-quality design packages.
+ Assist in documenting design standards and procedures.
+ Communicate with vendors and manufacturers as needed for project specifics.
**Qualifications**
**Required:**
+ 6+ years of structural drafting/design experience.
+ Proficiency in Bentley MicroStation Connect.
+ Strong knowledge of structural steel and concrete detailing.
+ Familiarity with AISC Steel Manual and structural member specifications.
+ Valid drivers license and ability to travel to SRP sites.
+ Completion of the Smith driving test (required for travel).
**Preferred:**
+ Associate degree or technical certification in drafting/design.
+ Experience in the power generation industry.
+ Knowledge of power plant equipment and processes.

**Pay Details:** $41.00 to $44.00 per hour
