POSITION PURPOSE AND SCOPE Reporting to the Director of Product Development Piping Movement Design, the Structural Engineer will act as a subject matter expert within Victaulic's growing Piping Movement Design Engineering group and be responsible for providing structural calculations and designing structural products to support Victaulics piping system solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review customer system requirements and offer Victaulic product solutions for piping system design needs.
• Provide structuralcalculations.
• Design pipe support products such as pipe anchors, skids, guides, bracing, small structures such as skids, etc.
• Identify and develop new products to bring new technologies and solutions to the industry.
• Visit field installations to assist customers in using Victaulic products and optimizing performance.
• Provide general support to sales organization including creating, organizing and conducting technical seminars.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering with 5-10 years structural engineering experience.
• PE License (Professional Engineer) required; S.E. License (Structural Engineer) preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in Project Management in building construction a plus.
• Experience with a designer or manufacturer of structural products a plus.
• Experience in the design and build process, or work experience with an EPC preferred
• Strong skills with drafting software (such as AutoCAD) and experience with structural analysis software (such as STAAD or equivalent).
• Requires excellent communication skills and professional appearance, strong organizational skills and ability to set priorities.
• Ability to travel 5-10%
