Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Project Superintendent to lead day-to-day construction site operations in the Owensboro, KY area. This role plays a critical part in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. Youll be responsible for site supervision, subcontractor coordination, schedule and budget management, and ensuring jobsite compliance.
This is an onsite position ONLY - the right candidate will be onsite 5 days/week.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all daily on-site construction activities, enforcing safety and quality control standards.
Lead and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and labor crews to maintain schedule and project momentum.
Collaborate closely with Project Managers, engineers, and owners to ensure successful delivery.
Maintain detailed documentation and daily reports; uphold jobsite cleanliness and safety protocols.
Monitor cost control measures and track material usage to ensure alignment with budget expectations.
Proactively identify and resolve field issues to minimize disruptions and maintain project integrity.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction supervision.
Proven leadership capabilities and strong organizational and communication skills.
Solid understanding of construction safety procedures, quality assurance, and industry best practices.
Ability to manage field personnel and subcontractors with professionalism and clarity.
Experience with scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Comfortable operating in a hybrid environment with travel to job sites as needed.
