Demolition and Abatement Supervisor

Main Duties:
Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of construction workers engaged in demolition and abatement in residential and commercial properties
Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other subcontractors
Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
Requisition materials and supplies
Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
Recommend personnel actions such as hirings and promotions
Prepare work progress reports
May also supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of related apprentices, helpers and labourers.
Prepare safe work procedures, site safety inspections and perform task specific daily field level hazard assessments

Qualifications:
1-3 years commercial construction experience
Abatement or restoration experience
CSO designation would be an asset
BC Worksafe Level 3 abatement certification would be an asset (training provided)
