Employees in this role should possess a minimum of six (6) years of experience in the specific craft and at least four (4) years of continuous Electric Transmission and/or Substation construction and maintenance experience at a supervisory level. The candidate must have skills in site grading, foundations, support structures, bus conductors, switch assembly, control and power cable termination, cable raceways, SCADA, telemetry RTU, and in-depth knowledge of OSHA standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring work quality and adherence to specifications.
- Coordinating billings, monitoring safety, quality, and production on-site.
- Managing equipment use, maintenance, and inventories.
- Participating in project meetings and coordinating personnel and equipment needs.
- Reviewing bids, scope of work, and preparing organization for projects.
- Securing quotes, supporting bid documentation, and reviewing contracts.
- Organizing construction plans, schedules, and safety plans.
- Monitoring project progress, safety, and compliance, and maintaining documentation.
- Participating in safety meetings and ensuring safety policies are followed.
- Managing project issues related to cost, progress, and schedule.
- Preparing reports, tracking expenditures, and ensuring proper project close-out procedures.
Minimum requirements include:
- Potential relocation based on work demands.
- Possession of a valid class B commercial driver's license (preferred).
- Ability to read blueprints and operate conveyance machinery.
- Adherence to safety policies and ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds and navigate uneven terrain.
